London Things To Do ❤ Sunday Brunch in Chelsea

Hi everyoneee!!

I had the loveliest day out on Sunday I’m too excited to tell you all about it!

I woke up very early Sunday morning (which doesn’t sound ideal I KNOW but it was definitely worth it!) to go meet a friend for brunch. From South Kensington station we got a bus to a little café called Bluebird. I’ve heard it’s pretty much the place to go when you’re down in Chelsea so I knew I had to give it a go. It’s the cutest little thing with outdoor sofas, heaters and blankets so that even if your only option is to sit outside (it can get super busy some days!!) you’re all tucked in, cosy and warm.

I started off having a little pot of tea to help warm up my lil’ fingers and it was honestly such a perfect place to spend my Sunday morning.

It was such a difficult decision ordering food because they literally made the simplest avocado on toast sound so gourmet and delicious. In the end I went for an Eggs Benedict whilst my friend changed it up a little with an Eggs Royale. In case you’re unaware of the difference, like I was, Benedict comprises of ham as opposed to the smoked salmon on the Royale (I think..). Oh and we also of course got a side of chips because why not.

This place is a little bit spenny but if you’re looking to treat yourself, this was honestly the cosiest little place to have breakfast. Of course it’s not only a breakfast place, as Bluebird offers so much including the most amazing afternoon tea options. You’ll have to give their website a visit (linked below) because honestly their cocktails and menus look incredible.

Everyone has to have a dessert of course, even if it is about 1 degree. So after brunch we made sure to visit Amorino, the sweetest little dessert place which is about ten minutes down the road from Bluebird.

I couldn’t feel my toes at this point but how could I resist one of these. LOOK HOW PRETTY!

So with these, you can choose either a small, medium or large cone. Although I wanted a large, I was freezing my bloody bottom off. With any one of those you get to choose three flavours. They had such a wide selection of flavours to choose from it took me so long to decide that I think I ended up holding the line up a bit.. typical me.

I ended up going for the classics of chocolate, vanilla and toffee, which was just the most beautiful composition of flavours to have in one’s mouth. You also had the option of adding a macaroon into the middle!

Just noticed a little misplaced macaroon in this pic, HELLO YOU! On top of all this.. to make decisions even harder, this place also does a selection of waffles and crepes which I didn’t have to stomach space to consume so this definitely means an excuse to go back!
